Chaos Lunia Bible!
📖 Chaos Lunia Bible is Live! Hey everyone! We’re excited to share the new Chaos Lunia Bible - your guide to stages, items, drops, characters, game systems, and more. If you’re looking for information or unsure how something works, the Bible is a great place to start. It’s available in all supported game languages and will continue to grow with new guides and updates.
This update is all about fixes and quality of life. Many long-standing annoyances are gone, and everyday play should feel faster, safer, and smoother.
Our new endgame progression is currently being tested and will arrive in its own major update once it is ready.
Maintenance Compensation
- Every item whose expiration timer was running when maintenance began received an additional 7 hours. - This also includes timed items inside unclaimed mail attachments.
Trading
- Right-click an item during a trade to add it directly to the trade window, just like attaching an item to mail. - Stackable items now ask how many you want to offer. - Each item type uses one trade slot. Offering more of the same item updates the existing slot. - The amount you enter always becomes the new total being offered. - Left-click your offered item to change the amount. Right-click it to remove it. - Your inventory is no longer locked or greyed out while preparing a trade. Items only move when the trade is completed.
Cash Shop
- Cash Shop weapon skins and costumes previously restricted to levels 1-30 can now be used at every level.
Stages and Combat
- Skill projectiles are no longer swallowed by walls, height edges, or map borders. They now complete their intended path and continue hitting targets. - Lobbed skills reliably trigger their landing effect, even when the arc ends on terrain. - Casting while standing on blocked ground no longer silently consumes the skill. - Crack of Dimension pits, enemies, bosses, and the Scorpius chase now deal proper damage to players. Very high Defense no longer reduces these attacks to scratch damage. - Player damage against monsters is unchanged, and PvP is unaffected. - Cave of Summons and Cave of Chaos floors 61-70 can now be entered solo. Rooms opened before the update keep their previous entry rules until they close. - The Devastated Forest boss no longer remains permanently protected during its introduction and now engages normally. - If your connection drops during the short transition between stages, the client now returns safely to server selection instead of crashing. - Returning to Square after a party vote is now noticeably faster.
Rankings
- Tower and arena progress is now saved after every cleared floor in the Battle Arena of Devildom, Tower of Suffering, and Tower of Ordeal. - If a run ends early because you leave, disconnect, or die, your highest cleared floor still counts. - Fixed an issue that caused some solo runs not to appear on the rankings. - Solo-run detection is now reliable regardless of how the run began. - Stage and Myth stat rankings now update reliably. - Character stats are also recorded when entering Square, helping rankings display your normal character sheet instead of a temporary combat snapshot affected by potions or party buffs. - Stage and Myth remain completely separate ranking boards.
Stage Votes
- Every stage vote is now announced in the room with the player's name and their Yes or No vote. - The vote starter's automatic Yes is also shown. - When a vote ends, players who did not vote are named. - Vote announcements use your selected client language, with all nine languages supported. - Kick votes remain fully anonymous. - PvP votes are unchanged.
Quests
- Daily and weekly quests now reset on the correct calendar day. - Completed quests no longer remain locked for an additional day or two. - Weekly quests can no longer be accepted twice during the same weekly period. - Quests affected by the previous reset dates were repaired automatically. - Rebirth items that reset quests still clear active quests as intended. Claim any rewards you want to keep before using one. - Repeatable quests no longer stop working after large lifetime totals such as 1,000 or 5,000 completions. - One-time quests remain one-time, while daily and weekly quests keep their normal reset schedules.
Level 75 Skills
- Sieg and Gaon's Self-Sacrificing Blow now use the corrected first-impact timing at every rank. - Ralph's Raising Dragon now uses the corrected third-launch timing. - Launch and pull reactions are now applied consistently: - Sieg, Gaon, Krieg, Lime, and Tia launch targets. - Ralph, Asuka, and Dacy pull eligible targets inward. - Eir keeps her Stun effect. - Krieg, Lime, Tia, Asuka, Dacy, and Eir were rechecked and already matched their intended behavior.
Magical to Physical Skill Conversion
- VIT skill families converted from Magical to Physical now receive the correct Physical skill-attack scaling on converted hits. - This applies to the previously announced Sieg, Krieg, Dacy and doll, Gaon, Ralph, and Lime skill families. - Hit counts, animations, cooldowns, and targeting are unchanged. - Damage may differ from the old Magical version against some enemies because Physical armor, resistances, and critical hits use different systems.
Pets
- Pet items can now be dragged to the skill bar like other usable items. - Pressing the shortcut for an inventory pet dismisses your current pet and summons the selected pet in one action. - You can summon a buff pet, receive its blessing, and then switch back to your main pet using another shortcut. - Timed pet blessings remain active when the pet is dismissed or swapped and expire normally. - Recasting the same blessing refreshes it instead of stacking it. Blessings from different pets continue to stack normally. - Pet shortcuts bind to the exact pet and survive transitions between Square and Stage. - Multiple identical pets can each have their own shortcut. - Rapidly pressing a pet shortcut can no longer disconnect you. - "Take Out All" from pet inventory now preserves each item's exact Fortification, Light Fortification, enchantments, stack count, and expiration. - A dismissed pet's passive effects are removed immediately. - Expired, locked, cooldown-restricted, or stage-restricted pets are rejected safely.
Blacksmith: Fast and Auto Fortification
- A new Fast option is available on the Fortification, Light Fortification, and Restore pages. - Fast mode skips the suspense delay and result animation, allowing attempts and repairs to complete immediately. - Auto mode repeatedly attempts Fortification on the registered item. - Enabling Auto always requires confirmation because Catalysts, Restoration Stones, and Gold will continue to be consumed until the run stops. - Registering an item automatically inserts the best available Catalyst for its current level. - When that Catalyst runs out, the system moves to the next suitable type. - Manually selecting a Catalyst overrides automatic selection and continues using your choice while your supply lasts. - Registering a broken item automatically fills the required Restoration Stones. - Every compatible stone type across every bag is considered, and split stacks can be combined. - The settings window includes: - A target level where Auto stops. - A minimum Gold amount where Auto stops. - An "Auto-restore broken items" option. - When Auto-restore is enabled, broken items are repaired and the run continues. - When disabled, the run stops after a break with the required stones already prepared for manual restoration. - Your settings are remembered. - Confirm uses F1 and Cancel uses F2 throughout the Blacksmith interface.
Account-wide Mail
- Compensation mail from the Chaos Lunia team can now be sent to your entire account. - Account-wide mail appears on every character, highlighted in magenta and pinned to the top of the mailbox. - Rewards can be claimed once by whichever character you choose. - After claiming, the mail appears as claimed for the rest of the account. - Unclaimed compensation mail remains pinned after being read until its contents are collected. - Text-only announcements become unpinned after being read.
Guilds
- Guild EXP Manuals now work across different guilds in the same stage. - The five strongest manuals held by guilded players create one shared bonus for every guilded player present. - Players without a guild are unaffected. - The shared bonus is recalculated immediately when a manual holder leaves. - Guild Point Vouchers and Guild Upkeep Vouchers can now be placed in quick slots and used directly in Square. - Using a Guild Point Voucher opens a quantity window preloaded with your full stack. - Enter any amount, or simply confirm to redeem the complete stack. - The guild ranking receives exactly the amount you entered. - Right-clicking a Guild Upkeep Voucher redeems your entire holding. - Using one from a quick slot opens the quantity window first. - If a voucher redemption cannot be completed, the consumed vouchers are returned automatically. If your inventory is full, they are returned by mail. - Attempting to use a voucher without a guild is safely refused.
Screen Options
- The Screen tab now includes separate options for: - Show level 90 aura. - Show level 99 aura. - Show rank 1 aura. - The rank 1 option controls both PvP and achievement rank auras because they use the same visual. - All three aura options are enabled by default. - A new Character Transparency slider allows values from 100% solid down to 20%. - Separate options control whether transparency applies to: - Your own character. - Other players. - Bosses. - "Only for oversized characters" is enabled by default and limits player transparency to transformed or oversized bodies. - Boss transparency is disabled by default. - Boss attacks always remain fully visible so they can still be avoided. - Regular monsters are never made transparent. - These settings affect only what your own client displays. - Changes apply immediately when you press Apply, including characters and auras already on screen.
Interface and Comfort
- Sort Inventory now keeps upgrade materials together. Fortification Stones, Catalysts, Restoration Stones, and Regrading Scrolls form one organized block. - Loot messages now display the actual item you found and use its rarity color. - Loot messages behave like item links. Hover over one to see the complete tooltip. - Repeated pickups still combine into one message to keep chat readable. - Typing in chat is no longer interrupted when players enter or leave the room or when a level 75 skill cut-in appears. - Picking up quest items and switching equipment from the skill bar no longer causes small freezes. - Splitting an inventory stack while writing mail no longer disables the mail controls. - A new checkbox beside the Music volume setting lets you choose between the current Lunia Z lobby theme and the classic "Fly Away" theme. - Lobby music changes immediately and your selection is saved. - The unused "Item Drop Rate" row has been removed from the character information window.
Coming Soon
The next major update is already being tested.
It introduces an entirely new endgame upgrade progression with higher Fortification ranks, new Shining tiers, new materials, new rewards, and new visual effects.
This progression will be released as its own major patch once testing is complete.

Damage Calculation Correction - Transformations and Certain Skills
During the past month, a damage-calculation bug caused certain relative, non-physical attacks to scale far beyond their intended values. This particularly affected parts of Krieg, Kali, Arta, Dacy and Lime transformations, along with specific attacks such as Arien’s Lightning Arrow effect.
The affected calculations were bypassing the intended 4,500 base-attack rule and several related damage-handling rules. This number is only an service calculation base before skill coefficients, critical damage, stats and buffs - it is not a 4,500 final-damage cap.
At high-end stats, the bug could make affected attacks deal several times their intended damage.
Because we had roughly a month to play and build around those values, correcting it may feel like a very large class nerf.
This fix came later than it should have, and that is our responsibility. Players who used these skills normally did nothing wrong, and nobody will be punished for playing around the values that were available.
This was a global calculation correction, not an intentional attempt to kill or target specific classes. However, correct calculations can expose genuine balance problems that inflated damage previously concealed. We will evaluate those problems separately and adjust individual class or skill damage where justified, without restoring the broken global formula.

Open Beta Patch 1.2.7
================================================
New System: Skill Dye Fusion ---------------------------- - Nimo's Composition window now has a dedicated Skill Dye Fusion tab.
- Combine exactly two active +2 skill dyes for the same character to receive one random active +2 dye for that character. The two submitted skills are excluded from the result pool.
- Two units from the same stack can be used. Each source consumes exactly one dye, and the 50 Gold fee is charged only after the result is granted.
- +1 dyes, mixed-character pairs, dye boxes, inactive dyes, legacy dyes and unrelated items are rejected without consuming dyes or Gold.
- Full-inventory and shared-stack cases now use the correct capacity check and preserve both source dyes if the transaction cannot finish.
- Successful dye fusion now uses the proper success animation, sound and message instead of looking like a same-grade or failed scroll result.
- Nimo now gives clear feedback for missing sources, invalid combinations, insufficient Gold, cooldowns, failures and every successful outcome.
- Composition Help now has separate, scrollable pages for Magic Scrolls, Ancient Magic Scrolls and Skill Dye Fusion, with complete instructions in all nine supported languages.
Devastated Forest ----------------- - Easy, Normal and Hard clear rewards now use the intended difficulty reward count. Hard awards two Soul Trap result boxes; Normal retains its chance for a second box.
- Devastated Forest Chaos now has its own challenge rules: ( they are still subject to change, waiting for feedback ) - normal monster drops are multiplied by 3; - the clear reward is multiplied by 5; - regular enemies use 300 times base HP; - listed wave bosses and Nefron use 600 times base HP; - regular enemies use 30 times base damage; - listed bosses use 50 to 100 times base damage; - the party shares three successful revives for the run.
- Listed bosses and their projectiles can break through normal combat and elemental immunity. Revive, loading and cutscene protection remain active.
- Boss predictive dodges are much less frequent, and bosses no longer spam the red predictive guard fallback while the dodge is unavailable.
- Solo and two-player rooms are supported. Their existing lower party-size HP scaling applies before the Chaos difficulty multipliers.
Quests & Achievements --------------------- - The Baphomet weekly now credits the one required final-boss kill in the last chain segment. Its one-kill requirement and 5 Chaos Coin reward are unchanged. Previously verified missed completions were repaired separately.
- The Prison of Spider God reward quest now requires and removes 2 Spider God Vouchers instead of the conflicting 3/15 values. The reward remains a choice of 36 Secret Catalysts or 36 Ultimate Restoration Stones.
- High Stat and Ultra High Stat achievements now receive the original 3.1 stage tier and live STR, DEX, VIT and INT snapshot at the correct times. Requirements, points and rewards are unchanged.
- Portuguese High Stat descriptions now match the actual all-stat and any-stat rules and their correct stage type.
- Ultimate Skill Mastery achievements now recognize the effective skill level, including an equipped +2 skill dye. Eligible missing completions are shown once and do not repeat on later logins.
- Stage-clear achievement reporting was restored for players using the Taiwan and Oregon regional routes.
- Server-wide rare-drop announcements are now limited to selected ultra-rare named drops and late-game equipment families instead of ordinary Epic gear. Announcements use a clear red global message and retain the item's own label color and tooltip.
Chat & Item Links ----------------- - Shift + left-click an owned inventory item to insert a bracketed item link into chat at the current caret or selection.
- Linked names use their real item-label color, show the current stack count, wrap with normal chat text and open the full calculated item tooltip on hover.
- Item links are localized independently for each recipient. Up to eight links can be included in one message.
- Long localized names, including Magical Skill Dyes, are now linked safely without exceeding the visible chat limit. Recipients still see the complete localized item name.
- Holding Shift during a link gesture can no longer start a stranded item drag or leave chat hover tooltips unresponsive.
- Neji's Loudspeaker supports the same item links, stack counts, colors and hover tooltips without making the inventory unusable while writing.
- Chat, login and Loudspeaker text fields support Unicode Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V. Unsafe control characters and pasted line breaks are removed while existing text limits remain enforced.
Party & Interface ----------------- - Right-clicking a party portrait now opens the existing player context menu, including View Info.
- Party buffs and debuffs remain visible in one aligned row beside the HP bar. Positive and negative effects no longer overlap each other, the portrait or the player name, and each icon keeps its detailed hover tooltip.
- The Title bank tab now opens the real title-storage bags. Additional title pages no longer fall back to the Normal bank.
- The prepared region selector distinguishes Chicago, Miami, Oregon (US West), Taiwan, Europe, Brazil and Korea in all supported languages.
Combat, Projectiles & Pets -------------------------- - Projectile and area skills no longer disappear merely because their damage radius overlaps a wall, and wall-adjacent casts no longer place their effect inside or beyond blocked terrain.
- This shared correction covers affected Arien, Dainn and other projectile/AoE skills without changing their damage radius, duration or hit data.
- Equipped pets now return after both ordinary and instant resurrection, subject to the existing expiry and stage restrictions.
Items, Shops & Economy ---------------------- - Resurrection Stones are available in the Gold Shop for 200 Gold, with a limit of 50 purchases per account per calendar month.
- New Endless Potions can no longer be produced from random boxes, daily gift schedules, the old alchemy recipe, single-result potion boxes or the old guild-shop registration item. Existing owned items remain representable and were not deleted.
Launcher & Stability -------------------- - The launcher can now complete installation when Windows or antivirus folder protection temporarily blocks the normal final rename after a successful download. The installed file is still verified before it is accepted.
- Access-denied guidance now points players to antivirus folder protection when the game is already closed.
- The obsolete interactive crash-report uploader was removed, so it no longer opens after a client problem.
Portuguese Localization ----------------------- - Corrected many recurring character, boss and proper names, including Arien, Siren, Zeugren, Seres, Balrog and Baphomet.
- Corrected Cave of Chaos floor 61-70, Suffering Tower titles, M1-M6 achievement titles, crafted-weapon objectives, the M4 INT weapon name, a two-piece critical-chance description and Bonus 3-1 cinema text.
- Corrected the three M6 Light Spirit weapon names.
- Corrected selected Legend raid labels for Balmotte, Serefin, Bigtalk and Heartgear.
- Corrected the Prison of Spider God key, voucher and related quest/cinema text; the voucher description now reflects its Catalyst or Restoration Stone exchange.
- Corrected the Guild Shop classification tab, Bank withdrawal button, Catalyst fragment, Foriel creature and Chaos Coin name/description.
- Chaos Coin now uses the normal localized item-name and description lookup in every supported language.

Two New Server Regions: Oregon and Taiwan!
Chaos Lunia just got a lot closer to you. With update 1.2.48, two brand-new server regions are live: Oregon (US West) and Taiwan!
Even better: you can now pick your server directly in the game. The new server selection offers seven regions:
US Central (Chicago) US East (Miami) US West (Oregon) Taiwan Europe Brazil Korea
How it works: Open the Options menu in game, choose your preferred server region, and apply. Your choice is saved to your account and used every time you enter a stage. If you would rather not choose, leave it on Automatic and the game picks a region for you.
Players on the US West Coast and across East and Southeast Asia should feel the difference right away: lower ping, smoother combos, better runs.
As a thank you for your patience during tonight's maintenance, every item with an expiry date has been extended by 24 hours, and players who lost items during the interruption have received them back by in-game mail.
Pick your region and see you in game!

Open Beta 1.2.5 and 1.2.6
Open Beta Update 1.2.26 - August 6, 2026 =========================================
This update collects everything released since the August 1 post, covering client updates 1.2.13 through 1.2.26 and the gameplay fixes released alongside them.
Only changes that are already live are listed below. Work that is still being tested will be added after it is released.
Events & Achievements --------------------- - The in-game event schedule has been rebalanced to give European and Korean players more evening events without removing the established US and Brazilian windows.
- Cave of Chaos now opens at 06:30 and 21:00 every day in server time, with an additional 13:00 opening from Monday to Friday and additional 03:00, 11:30 and 16:30 openings on Saturday and Sunday. The total remains 3 runs on weekdays and 5 runs on weekends.
- The "Pop Stages for Today" list now matches the updated event schedule.
- The six consecutive-day achievements for 3, 7, 28, 100, 180 and 365 days, along with the two linked first-in-the-channel achievements, were retired after their streak tracking proved unreliable. Achievement points already earned from them are NOT kept.
Family ------ - Family contribution time now records each full minute correctly instead of losing part of your playtime during automatic updates.
- Your own family contribution now updates while you are online instead of appearing frozen until you relog. This corrects new playtime going forward; historical missing minutes were not restored in this update.
Chat & Guilds ------------- - Guild activity notices are back in the Guild tab. Member logins and logouts, member and guild level-ups, role changes, master changes, contributions and other guild events are visible there again instead of appearing only in All or System.
- The repeated "Guild chatting has started" connection notice stays in the System tab so it does not flood the Guild tab during map changes.
Language & Screen Options ------------------------- - Added a new Screen tab to the options menu. You can reduce nameplate detail or hide chat balloons, ground-item labels, other players' skill effects and other players' pets.
- Your own character, your own pet, mobs and bosses are never hidden by the other-player options. Important hit reactions and projectiles also remain visible.
- German received a complete interface translation pass, and Spanish is now available as an interface language. The language selector now shows every language with its proper name.
Myth Stages ----------- - Spirit-boss chances in Myth 1-4 were rebalanced. The values below are for 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 active players at the moment the boss is rolled: - Myth 1 - Lunia: 70% / 90% / 100% / 100% / 100% - Myth 2 - Foriel: 60% / 80% / 90% / 100% / 100% - Myth 3 - Wyldur: 50% / 70% / 80% / 100% / 100% - Myth 4 - Zugren: 40% / 60% / 70% / 100% / 100%
- Fixed an exploit in Myth 3-6 that could spawn a second boss and a second service encounter when the final statue and the boss died together. The normal statue mechanic still rerolls one living boss as intended, but one clear can no longer pay out twice.
Performance & Loading --------------------- - Added a self-managed local asset cache, using up to 2 GB, to make repeat stage visits and repeated model loading faster. Older cached files are removed automatically when needed.
- Restarting the same stage now reuses already prepared stage data when enough memory is available instead of loading it again from scratch. Lower graphics settings no longer discard useful prepared data unnecessarily.
- Background preparation for players, mobs, summons, projectiles, drops, map objects and interface sounds was improved. It now uses real elapsed time instead of frame count, so high-FPS players receive the same preparation window as everyone else.
- Squares now also prepare every class's basic appearance during loading, further reducing the hitch when another player appears for the first time.
- Fixed a long-session interface resource leak that made stage and Square loads progressively slower and could lower FPS after many area changes.
- Further reduced equipment-swap freezes. Equipment in your inventory is prepared in advance, and the stat-change panel now reuses its rows instead of rebuilding them after every swap.
- Reduced FPS stalls caused by the Quest and Inventory windows, item movement, equipment changes and repeated interface text redraws.
- Improved the first stage load after the client has been left open at the login or lobby screen.
Stability & Hotfixes -------------------- - Fixed a client crash that could happen when another player's character appeared in a Square.
- Squares no longer restart and kick everyone merely because of a temporary load spike. Actual offline Squares are still detected normally.
- Client Update 1.2.21 fixed the repeated menu-related crashes introduced in 1.2.20 while keeping the new loading and Screen-option improvements.
- Client Update 1.2.23 fixed the Square-entry loop introduced in 1.2.22, where a Square could reach 100% loading and then return you to the Square list.
- Client Update 1.2.26 fixed skills sometimes refusing to cast for a few extra seconds even though their displayed cooldown had finished. This affected all characters and became more noticeable on skills with longer cooldowns.
Thank you to everyone who sent reports and diagnostic files. They directly led to most of the fixes in this update. Please keep reporting anything that still feels wrong; this list will continue to be updated as additional fixes are confirmed and released.

Open Beta Patch 1.2.4
Open Beta Update 1.2.12 - August 1, 2026 ========================================
Please welcome GM Lyonrang, who is joining the team to support the community. If you have any questions or inquiries, he can now help you too.
This update is the largest one since Open Beta started. It collects everything from the last days: a full chat rework, the quest window, drop rates on higher difficulties, guild ranking, and a long list of fixes that came straight from your reports.
Chat ---- - Your chat no longer gets wiped when you move between stages and Squares. Conversations now survive map changes.
- Two new tabs. "System" collects gold and item pickup messages, "Achievement" collects achievement announcements. The All tab is player chat again.
- Repeated identical lines are collapsed into one line with a counter, for example "line (x8)", instead of filling the whole window.
- Whispers now play a notification sound and highlight the tab that received them until you open it. The sound can be turned off in the chat settings.
- Chat history per tab was raised from 100 to 300 lines, and the chat stays readable twice as long before it fades.
- Removed the chat lock that muted you for two minutes after a few quick messages ("Chat unavailable due to interruption").
- Chat no longer loses focus when players join or leave, or when a level 75 skill cut-in plays.
Drops & Rewards --------------- - Chaos difficulty is now genuinely more rewarding. Rare items such as magic scroll boxes really do drop more often on higher difficulties. Until now the difficulty bonus only increased the amount of common loot and never how often rare items appeared.
- New: EXP book fusion. Right-click a timed EXP book from the Chaos Coin shop boxes to combine three identical books plus 100 Gold into one book of the next tier. The result keeps the shortest remaining time of the three.
- Magic scroll composing no longer pays out Gold. Instead you receive a random non-rare scroll for your class. Everything else about composing is unchanged.
- Boss Zone: "Voucher of Spider God" now asks for 3 vouchers instead of 15.
- Voucher of Scorpius and Voucher of Balrog now actually drop from their bosses. Both quests were impossible to complete before, because the vouchers had no drop source at all.
- The weekly Chaos Coin quests at the stage raid bosses now need 1 kill instead of 4, with the reward adjusted to 5 Chaos Coins.
- Cash shop cosmetics no longer carry level, accumulated level or rebirth requirements. Over 19,000 cosmetic items are now free to wear at any level.
Quests & Achievements --------------------- - The episode quest window now lists the quests of the stage you are in at the top, in a stable order, and no longer mixes in quests that belong to other stages.
- The Goddess Lunia quests in Devildom Workhouse now appear inside the Workhouse itself.
- Quest rewards can no longer disappear from an inventory slot right after turning a quest in. If this happened to you, the item was always safe on the server and only displayed incorrectly.
- Stage clears now always count towards your achievements, even when someone joins or leaves the party in the middle of a run.
- The Tower of Ordeal floor 70 achievement no longer completes for players who did not carry the curse. Completions granted by that bug were removed.
- Achievement announcements worth 30 points or more are no longer swallowed when several achievements complete at once.
- "High Stat Holder" achievements now classify all equipment correctly. Myth scrolls placed on cash gear no longer bypass the check, and completions earned through that gap were reset. They can be earned again normally.
- New: the top achievement point holder of each class now wears the golden aura, the same one the PvP ladder rank 1 wears.
Guilds ------ - Guild ranking works as intended again. Your rank and "Ranking Score" show last month's final standings and stay fixed for the whole month, while "Current Score" counts the running month live. Previously the board reshuffled constantly and both numbers showed the wrong values.
- New in the Guild Shop: 30-day Guild EXP books.
Combat & Controls ----------------- - Pressing a potion during a lag spike is no longer silently ignored. Item input recovers within about three seconds instead of up to a minute, and you hear a short sound when a press could not be processed.
- Fixed an exploit that allowed permanent cooldown resets with Tia's Turn Back Time.
- Fixed a crash when pressing C on the loading screen.
- Confirm Away can no longer be used during the Pet Race.
- Mandronos raid: the jewel lamps no longer shatter from a distance while you are fighting nearby. They now trigger only when you step on them, and they trigger reliably.
Performance ----------- - Squares no longer stutter when players join or leave, or while the room list (F4) is open. Your selection and scroll position in the room list also survive a refresh now.
- Reduced the small stutters when mobs appear for the first time. The game learns each stage and preloads its mobs on your next visit.
- Reduced freezes when swapping equipment with hotkeys.
- Fixed rooms appearing in the stage list that were actually empty and could not be joined. This affected all regions.
- Fixed lag that affected everyone in a Square at the same time.
- Fixed a rare disconnect in the middle of a run that showed an unknown error and let you log back in immediately.
- Fishing spots per Square were increased to 90 in the main Squares and 60 in the episode, Myth and PvP Squares.
Windows 7 --------- - Windows 7 is supported again from start to finish. The launcher starts, and the PLAY button now really opens the game.
Language & Display ------------------ - "FANTASTIC SAVE!", the Double, Triple and Ultra Kill banners, the PvP result screen and the tutorial prompts are in English again. The Chinese artwork now appears only when playing with a Chinese language setting.
- Portuguese: corrected labels that confused critical hit rate with critical hit damage multiplier, both on items and in the character window.
- Pets: Diana now receives the enchantment of the class that actually raised her to rare, not of the class that opened her box.
Item Store & Website -------------------- - The Charge Cash button now leads to the top-up page instead of a dead link.
- Your purchase and gift history now show your actual orders. Both lists were always empty before.
- The website has a new "Next Event" display with live countdowns for in-game events such as Cave of Chaos, Fishing and the Pet Race, along with the daily reset time.
Compensation ------------ - All time-limited items were extended by 5 hours to make up for today's maintenance. This covers items in your inventory, in pet bags, in unclaimed mail and in market listings.
As always, thank you for the detailed reports. A large part of this update came directly from them. If anything is missing, not working as intended, please dont hold back and let me know!!
No change is permanent, if something is completely off, i will not be scared to roll it back!

Open Beta Bug Fix 1.2.1
Open Beta Hotfix - July 23, 2026 ================================
Maintenance Compensation ------------------------ - Every eligible time-limited item that was active when maintenance began received exactly three additional hours. This covered 1,878 item timers in inventories, pet inventories and unclaimed mail.
- Permanent items were not changed, and items created after maintenance began were not extended.
Achievements ------------ - Cave of Chaos daily progress now resets correctly at server midnight instead of carrying unfinished counters into another day.
- Unsupported Cave of Chaos completions and points caused by the old carryover were corrected. Legitimate same-day completions were preserved.
- Master of Chaos requires 10 successful Cave clears during the same server day (Monday-Friday), entering at floor 51 or 61.
- Conquerer - Cave of Chaos requires 11 successful Cave clears during the same server day (Monday-Friday), entering at floor 61.
- The party must remain intact for a Cave clear to count. Once an achievement is earned it remains permanent; only unfinished daily progress resets.
- Legendary Item Collector now counts only actual Legendary equipment with an orange item name. Myth Story books and other non-equipment items no longer count merely because their data contains a Legendary grade value.
- Each real Legendary equipment acquisition counts once. Proven invalid Legendary Item Collector completions, progress and points were corrected.
Item Store & Refunds -------------------- - Four unintended zero-CASH invisible accessories were removed from the Free tab, unclaimed Purchased Items lists, equipment, inventories and banks, pet inventories, and market listings.
- All 392 current player-accessible copies of those four items were removed.
- Players with verified scroll or dye effects applied to these accessories received the matching refund items by mail from Chaos.
Regarding the missing invisible items: I removed the four items from the Free tab and from the game. I originally intended to make greater use of the in-game Gold Shop for items like these rather than giving them away for free, but I handled this poorly. This one is on me. All scrolls and dyes that we could verify as having been applied to the removed items have been refunded by mail. Going forward, I will make greater use of the Gold Shop for items like these instead of adding them for free. I apologize for the inconvenience and confusion this caused.
Drops & Randomness ------------------ - We audited the entire loot system against the original game. The configured drop chances were always correct, but we found two real bugs.
- Two mobs had empty loot tables. This has been fixed.
- After maintenance, rooms could start with the same random sequence. This caused matching dry streaks across multiple rooms and made drops feel rigged. This has also been fixed: every room now rolls independently. - This was a legacy bug inherited from the original game and had existed in Lunia's server behavior for well over a decade.
- Unlucky streaks are still normal RNG, but from now on they are yours alone, not server-wide.
Client Performance & Stability ------------------------------ - Reduced memory growth and slowdown during long sessions, especially in busy Squares.
- Stopped unused visual effects and character resources from accumulating after players leave or move out of view.
- Closed one-to-one chat windows, temporary menus, mission-result rows and other short-lived interface data now release correctly.
- Session chat history is bounded, failed guild-icon downloads no longer retry forever, and long-session rendering state is cleaned up more reliably.

Open Beta Bug Fix 1.2
=====================
A Note on the Future of Chaos Lunia ----------------------------------- Chaos Lunia' balance is never permanently set in stone: buffs, nerfs and larger adjustments can happen whenever they are needed.
If a requested change did not make it into this patch, that does not mean it has been rejected forever. It may still be revisited in the next patch or in a future update.
If any change turns out to be clearly out of line, I will not hesitate to adjust or revert it. Please keep sending thoughtful, well-explained suggestions. The most helpful feedback explains what feels wrong, why it matters and what outcome you would like to see.
Maintenance Compensation ------------------------ - Every eligible time-limited item that was active when maintenance began received exactly five additional hours. This covered 1,608 item timers in inventories, pet inventories, unclaimed mail and market-held items.
- Permanent items were not changed, and the duration of items created after maintenance began was not extended.
Family ------ - Expanded families now receive the intended experience bonuses. A full five-member family receives 40%, and a full six-member family receives 50% when every permanent member is online.
- These new bonuses are full-family rewards. Partial five- and six-member families continue to use the original family experience bonus tiers.
- Having three or four family guests online no longer makes the family experience bonus disappear. Additional guests now use the highest available guest bonus tier.
- One-time family and guest reward mails now arrive reliably. A temporary delivery problem can no longer lose the reward or create a duplicate.
Stages ------ - Episode 7 quest routes now check the active quests of the whole party. Alternate quest routes and quest-specific stage behavior no longer fall back to the normal route simply because more than one player entered.
- Cross-region parties now follow the current party leader's automatically selected region when moving between stages. Changing the party leader now updates the route instead of depending on party-list order.
- Myth Episodes 3, 4 and 5 no longer run the old full-party event logic that could summon an additional copy of the god boss with five players.
- Scheduled popup stages, including Pet Field and Monster Invasion, now use the corrected availability rules in Automatic, Europe, Korea and Brazil. A late start or restart during an active event window restores the event, while it still closes at the originally advertised end time.
- Bonus 2-1: World of Ice no longer allows endless reinforcement farming while the Ice Stones are left intact. Each objective can now summon only its intended limited number of reinforcement waves.
Achievements ------------ - Four Open Beta achievements now require the qualifying action on a character with at least one Rebirth: reaching level 50, catching 100 fish, fortifying an item to +5 and fortifying an item to +10. Higher Rebirth counts also qualify.
- Existing completed achievements remain complete. Earlier fishing progress did not record the character's Rebirth count, so progress toward the RB1 100-fish requirement starts with qualifying catches made after this patch.
- Item achievements now follow their intended acquisition rules. Receiving an item from another player no longer completes achievements that require you to earn the item yourself, while the intended boxes and rewards continue to count.
- Quest Gold achievements now count only positive Gold received from quest rewards. Quests that charge Gold on completion can no longer create false progress or instantly complete the Quest Gold achievement series. - Quest Gold achievement progress is now displayed in actual Gold instead of the game's underlying currency units.
- Incorrect Quest Gold completions and achievement points caused by the old behavior were corrected for affected characters. Legitimate progress and legitimately completed lower milestones were preserved.
Market ------ - Market searches and autocomplete suggestions now keep the selected class, category, level, wearable and sorting options.
- A late autocomplete response can no longer replace the visible market results, leave the controls disabled or discard a Search request made while suggestions were loading.
- Market columns now sort by the column you selected, with consistent ordering when two listings have the same visible value.
- Items with accented or other non-English characters in their localized names can now be registered on the market correctly.
Items & Localization -------------------- - The one-day Fast Growth Gift Box offered in the Chaos Coin Barter Store no longer contains 120% or 150% EXP books. It now awards a 200% (60%), 300% (25%), 400% (10%) or 500% (5%) EXP book, each lasting one day.
- Timed rewards in unidentified-box previews now show the correct remaining duration. One-day EXP books no longer display a time-zone-dependent seven-hour offset. This was a preview issue only; the real item duration was already correct.
- Opening multiple unidentified chests from the same stack now lists every awarded item in system chat again, including the awarded quantity.
- English item names and descriptions no longer show question marks where an equipment, box or potion tier should appear. Missing tiers were restored as readable I-X numerals, including Elven Fairy and Flying Temple equipment.
Pets ---- - Feeding or giving a present to a summoned pet after it reaches 0% fullness no longer applies the pet's passive stat effect a second time.
- The existing passive remains active at 0% fullness, and normal unsummon, resummon, level-up and enchant refresh behavior is unchanged.
- Restored the Pet Race version of Diana as a special event reward. Diana obtained from the Pet Race reward box now stores the Perfect pet enchant that matches the class opening the box: Perfect Ability for DEX, Perfect Magic Critical Rate for INT or Perfect Physical Critical Rate for VIT classes.
- This distinction is intentional: Diana is one of the rarest rewards from the Pet Race event, and receiving her from the event box should feel meaningfully more rewarding than receiving Diana from another source.
- Diana keeps her normal recovery effects before rare evolution. If she becomes a Rare pet at level 60, the stored class enchant activates and replaces her Rare effect and blessing instead of stacking with them.
- Eligible existing Pet Race Dianas with a verified reward-box service receive the same class-matched correction. Dianas from the Pet Random Box, Dianas from other sources and pets that were already manually enchanted are unchanged.
Guild ----- - Reloading a Square or changing characters no longer carries an old guild tag, member list or guild chat connection into the new session.
- Joining or changing guilds now replaces the previous guild connection cleanly. Messages and member updates from another guild are ignored.
Audio ----- - Master, music and effect volume changes now apply immediately to sounds that are already playing. Restarting the client is no longer required.
- Raising a volume slider after muting now makes existing sounds audible again, and effect volume is no longer reduced twice.
- The three volume sliders now use a smoother 100-step range.
Display & Camera ---------------- - A new Larger Interface slider can scale the complete game interface from 100% up to 200%, depending on the selected resolution.
- A new Extended Camera Zoom-Out slider can extend the farthest camera view from the original 100% limit up to 200% in stages and Squares.
- Both options keep the original 100% limits by default. Changes can be previewed immediately and continue to support Apply, Cancel and Restore Defaults.
Interface --------- - Clicking another window over the chat no longer activates a player name, achievement link or other chat action hidden underneath it.
- Chat player-name and achievement-link actions no longer stop responding permanently after another dialog is opened and closed.
- The chat opacity panel can no longer be accidentally resized or dragged beyond its intended fixed layout.
- Escape now closes the F4 party-list window and the Achievement window regardless of the current quick-slot or input focus state.
- Game Options language labels and pet-state tooltips no longer show raw placeholder or localization keys after patching.
Account & Login --------------- - A blocked account now receives the correct account-blocked message instead of "This user does not exist."
- Permanent blocks are identified as permanent, while temporary blocks show their remaining duration and expiry time.
- Account restrictions are now rechecked during character changes and when moving between Squares and stages, so an already-connected session can no longer continue after the account is blocked.
Website ------- - The sign-in panel now includes a visible Forgot password? link to the existing email password-recovery flow.
Server & Stability ------------------ - Fixed a Stage crash that could occur when an effect was rejected by its target, including Freeze effects against Freeze-immune targets.
News
Open Beta Bug Fix 1.1
Family ------
- Family member capacity increased from 4 to 6 players per family. Guest capacity stays at 4.
- Family guests now work as intended: the first character of an account (up to level 30) is automatically assigned as a guest to an active family with at least one member online.
- The family window now shows the correct online status for every member, and the family experience bonus is always calculated from the members that are actually online.
Stages ------
- Myth 1 and Myth 2: fixed a second boss spawning in the boss room when entering with a full party. Only the intended boss appears now.
- Event stages no longer disconnect you when the current room is full. You are placed into an open room, and a new room opens once every room is full.
Characters ----------
- Dacy can no longer summon two dolls of the same kind. She can keep two different dolls out at once, and re-summoning a kind now replaces the previous one.
- Fixed an issue where some character names could not be created.
Rewards & Achievements ----------------------
- Activated wing licenses now show their wing in the wing list even before rebirth, greyed out until the rebirth requirement is met. From Rebirth 1 the wing becomes selectable, and from Rebirth 3 it appears on your character and grows with every further rebirth.
- The Conqueror of the Cave of Chaos achievement is back to its original behaviour: only weekday clears count (Monday to Friday).
Interface ---------
- Clicking a player name in the chat now prefills the whisper command in every chat tab, not only in the Whisper tab.
- Family and party chat now connect reliably.
- The Options tool opens again from the launcher.
Website -------
- The online player counter now always shows the correct number of players, including the per-region numbers.

Official Open Beta Launch!
The Open Beta of Chaos Lunia is now live!
First of all I'd like to apologise if this Open Beta is not going to be super eventful at the start.. proper events were the plan for launch day, but some things happened IRL, so I will have to add them a few days later - and it will be even more amazing then!
If you had previously used the Alpha client, you can just open the launcher and it will download all the fixes and patches that have been pushed. If that doesn't work, you can download a fresh client on the website: https://chaoslunia.com/download/client
The login / maintenance mode unlocked automatically at exactly 5 PM server time. I hope all of you enjoy it! Many things are still planned, some things might still be broken, but they will get fixed. As for bugs, I hope that most major and gamebreaking bugs have already been found during the alpha test, but it's still possible there are some left during the Open Beta - we will get to fix them asap! So please report any bug you find.
Registering new accounts is open.
Let's all enjoy Lunia together, happy gaming!
PS: there will be NO MORE resets - what you get now, will stay!
News
The Alpha is ending, Open Beta is next!
The alpha test lasted quite a bit longer than expected, but the current state of things looks good enough to move on to an Open Beta. A huge thank you to everyone who participated, tested, reported bugs and simply played on Chaos Lunia.
What happens now ----------------
- The servers will shut down to prepare everything for the official Open Beta launch.
- The Open Beta officially launches on Friday, July 17 at 5 PM server time.
Alpha rewards -------------
- Alpha rewards are still being worked on and may come in a bit later, through the cash item list or by mail. They are not forgotten!
- The delayed part only concerns the wings, as they are still being fixed. Everything else you will get at Open Beta launch.
- Rewards will not be sent to all accounts: accounts that never really played and did not reach at least level 50 will not receive the basic reward. Players who played and reported more will be rewarded more generously.
Devildom Floor 6 & 7 --------------------
The recently added floors will be disabled for now, because of reasons. They will return.
What comes next ---------------
This is not the end: we will keep working on improving the game and listening to your feedback and suggestions. Once the game has launched and you meet the requirements, feel free to add your suggestions right here on the website. And that's not all, more things will follow soon!
I hope the Open Beta gets off to a good start. Realistically, I do expect some hiccups here and there, but we will try to minimize the damage in those cases and treat everything fairly.
Thank you again, and I hope to see you soon in the Open Beta!
