Episodes and the World

The seven episodes, the level band each one expects, and where the side dungeons, raids and Myth content hang off them.

The world of Lunia is seven episodes long. Each is a themed chain of numbered stages with its own square, its own mobs and its own equipment quests, and each gets replayed at a higher difficulty later. Raids, Myth, Devildom and the Bonus chapters all hang off that skeleton.

How the world is laid out

Episodes 1 through 6 are ten stages each. Episode 7 is nine, and it is the only episode with no second difficulty. Every other episode exists twice: once as History, once as Legend. Same map, same room order, different level band and a different drop table. That gives 69 History stages and 60 Legend stages on the main line.

There are thirteen squares in total, all with room for 70 players, including the Myth Square (Hall of Moon Goddess) and the PvP Square (Zugren's Arena).

Most dungeon groups start you with a stock of two lives. Several do not: the Myth boss stages, both Towers, the Devildom arena and the Bonus chapters all start you at zero, and the Towers and the arena block revives outright.

Episode 1: Ramancha

Green fields, orcs, slimes and the elven village. The chain runs 1-1 Ramancha Prairie through Comfort Forest, Silent Hill, Mushroom Forest, Elven Fairy Village and Secret Forest to 1-10 Lost Temple. Early quest targets are Orc Mutu Scout, Giant Slime, Ogre Lord, Explosive Ostrich and the Mad Goblin Warrior of Dark Force.

Wind Nostalgia Icerya (MYTH raid)808

The three Tumgalad stages are the one place in the game with a shared life pool: the party draws from one stock instead of each player having their own.

Episode 2: The Snowfields

Snow Flower Valley up to the Ice Palace, by way of Ancient Maze, Underground Graveyard and Dead Man's Cave. This is where the undead show up, and where Ashtar's skeleton generals and the Soul Hunter first appear in quest text. The Legend finale sends you after the Little Sharp-Clawed Lord, Hell's Knight and Evil Eye's Cow Master together.

Episode 3: Al Hammura

Desert, cobolts and the temple at the centre of it. Stone Hill through to 3-10 Center of Al Hammura Temple. Quest targets are Poison Sting Scorpion, Cobolt Warrior, Elite Orc Warrior and the Orc Chicken Witch Doctor.

Twelve players is the largest party on the raid line, and Jahillyah Volcano Higher Level shares that slot with its Myth version, Endless Volcano Upper Level. The Cave of Chaos floors come next at ten. The genuinely crowded rooms are not raids at all: the squares hold 70, Amuse Park holds 40, the Fishing Spot on the Beach holds 20 and the battlefield maps hold 16. The Myth version of this raid puts you against Nagsaron, Ruler of Flames, and the Lower Level version against Icanus. The entry key for both comes from Baldaron the Earth Spirit in Legend 3-9.

Episode 4: The Jungle

Pirates, tortoises and shamurlocs. 4-1 Jungle Leaf Tree through Zuruwe, Skull Rock Fort, Sesha's Garden and 4-10 Submerged Temple. The Treasure Island chain is four linked stages and it exists in both tiers.

Episode 5: Jenadan

The city episode: Jenadan Gate, Royal Villa, Vaste Market, Noblessehills, Glorie Street, Felicita Street and Lunia Palace. Rebels, royal knights and royal wizards, plus Henry de Bonapardo and Batum as story targets. This is also where Princess Lir's quest chain lives.

Episode 6: Soldin

Cliffs, dwarven forges and then a flying island. Rough Cliff, Blast Furnace Village, Cave of Kings, Dimension Gate, Sikan's Temple, Altar of Resurrection and 6-10 Soldin Temple. Rigel is the recurring name here, and the Legend chain ends on Elder Nor.

Two Myth boss stages are filed under this episode: Prison of Demon Lord and Prison of Spider God, both Lv 85 for eight players.

One oddity worth knowing: Legend 6-9 Room of Elders is tagged Lv 59 while every stage around it sits at 66 to 70. That is what the data says, not a typo on this page.

Episode 7: Eldar

The newest and shortest chain, nine stages with no Legend tier: Astrima the Village of High Elves, Arasor Ruins of Primordial Life, The Cliffs of Eldar, Vialia's Frozen Forest, The Citadel of Red Anvils, Endless Flame Corridor, Henry's Secret Lab, Forest of Haetae in Ancient Times, and 7-9 Ancient Hall of Moon Goddess.

The closing quests name three targets in order: Highest Level Haetae, Highest Level Nergal, and finally Goddess Lunia herself.

Beyond the seven

Bonus (the Apocrypha track) is three short chapters, all listed at Lv 65: seven Forest stages capped at ten revives, seven more from World of Ice to Dragon Cave Core capped at five, and the three Fire Fortress stages. A second Fire Fortress version exists for two players at Lv 70.

Ancient Times is the Myth track: six forests from Ep1 Forest of Moon (Lv 70) to Ep6 Forest of Light (Lv 85) for five players, plus Crack of Dimension, the Tower of Ordeal and the Tower of Suffering (four players, no revives), Cave of Summons and Devastated Forest (three players minimum), and Ancient Gods' Island 1 to 3. The Cave of Chaos is the ten player raid, seven floors from 1-10F to 61-70F, and its own entry text says it opens only at fixed times.

Devildom is three Lv 85 stages: Gateway to Devildom, which has four difficulty tiers (Easy, Normal, Difficult, Chaos), the Devildom-Workhouse, and the Battle Arena of Devildom, four players with revives switched off.

Battle is the PvP tab: eighteen maps, among them City Arena, Rotating Sandglass, Castle Fortress Jenadan, the ladder map, and two Death Match arenas with a 100 kill goal on a 15 minute clock.

Every stage, with capacity, level and group, is in the stage browser. Named foes are in the bestiary, and the episode chains are in the quest browser.
